Please explain in much greater detail. Please tell us any and all error messages you see, complete and verbatim.

What do you mean by "Can't open them"? Do you mean that Thunderbird doesn't fetch new email?

Who is your email provider?

What is your computer platform?

What version of Thunderbird?

Is this a POP3 or IMAP account?

What do you mean by "ID number"? Do you mean your email password?
