Book mark this page keeps dissapearing from the Bookmarks Menu

under the menu Bookmarks some times the book mark this page is there and stays there other times it Disappears from the list.

Have you seen any pattern? Web site, display, current action . . . . .

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

When you are in a tab that is bookmarked (i.e. the star on the Navigation Toolbar is blue) then "Bookmark This Page" changes to "Edit This Bookmark", so do not let you confuse this.
