Currently visiting in Costa Rica, and for some reason, my PC when I log on to Mozilla FF, my start up page goes to www.google.co.cr so all my page commands are in Spanish. I have set everything I could find that allows me to change the language to English - what do I need to change to get the Start Page address to www.google.com???

Some sites automatically redirect you to a site in the local language, based on where your IP locates you.

There is usually a link on such websites choose a language or go to an international version that allows to chose the language.

If the Google (Firefox) or Yahoo! home page is in the wrong language then see:

To avoid redirection, you can add the /en suffix to your google page. example: Instead of bookmarking www.google.com, use either: http://www.google.com/en http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en

It will still provide a link to your local version of google at the bottom based on the location of your IP, but it will not redirect you automatically.
