How do I add screenshots icon to extra space on toolbar?

Currently I have the screenshots icon in the address bar (see attached) and I want to move it over to the "extra space" area next to the refresh icon (which is the third one from the left.) I tried to use customize and it will not let me move it (the scissors like icon) from the address bar to the extra space area.

If you know the answer please reply step by step because I am a novice user. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can.

Add-ons (Firefox Screenshots is an add-on) can place icons either in the address bar or in the main part of the toolbar. I don't think it's possible to move them between those areas.

If you want to get rid of the empty space to the left of the address bar you can drag the flexible spacer off the bar in Customize mode. See: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

Note that you can right-click the flexible spacers like any other toolbar item in normal mode and click "Remove for Toolbar" to move this item to the Customize palette. There is no need to enter customization mode. The Firefox screenshot button is part of the page actions area and can only appear in that specific area on the location/address bar.
