Well, it looks that I may have found out the answer to my question by submitting this question. One has to ask a question, then choose the not-satisfied with answers found option, then go through all the steps to "create an account" in order get registered for Support and to get one's question answered. Seems like a tedious way to sign up for Mozilla tech support, but there it is.
