I repeatedly attempt to install the plugin for Adobe Flash player but, despite scree feedback that indicates that pludin and flash player have been successfully installed, I find they have not been.

This is my first day w/Firefox browser. Thought I has escaped the Evil Empire and that Firefox would do less but better. This is a disappointing first experience.

The link that you show is for the Adobe Reader and not the Abode Flash player
