Trying to stop firefox from opening aol when I just want firefox screen

COmputer was setup for me to get aol thru firefox. I want to disable that connection so that when I go to firefox i get only the regular firefox screen and firefox icon appears at bottom of my screen (windows 7) Thanks!

How exactly is it setup? When you open Firefox, does aol.com appear? Please explain

How to restore the default homepage

1.On the Firefox menu bar, click Tools | Options

2. Make sure you are in the General Panel

3. Click Restore to default

4. Click OK to close out of the options window
