Accidently deleted my password; cannot receive or send emails. Please help! Thank you!
1/10/20, could not send or receive emails. I followed the instructions in the article "Ability to Receive mail , suddenly stop; was working before." I accidentally deleted my password and information from the security/ save password, page.
I've enclosed a print screen of the errors received from Thunderbird.
I'm currently using my gmail account to receive messages. (tahart4438@gmail.com) however tanya@htfinancialservices is my business email address.
Thank you in advancefor all of your assistance in advance.

Thunderbird and Firefox store their passwords separately. Copy the password from one to the other.
In the event that the passwords information is lost, you
should record all information in a separate text file
somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down.
You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If
you are concerned about someone else looking
at that file, you can compress it using a password.
I cannot send or receive emails.
When I open Thunderbird I'm prompt to type in password however I accidentally deleted my password from the security page under options. Thunderbird will not authenticate the new password
The error message sts " Cannot Authenticate Password.
I would like to delete the account from Thunderbird and re-enter, can you advise, how to delete an reenter the account.
Thank you
You can't change to a new password without the current password.
Does Firefox have the password?
