bbc.co.uk (my homepage) is signed as 'not secure'. Should I do anything? My browser is Firefox, via Windows XP.

Unlike the Mozilla Foundation (US) address, which shows the green secure 'padlock' symbol, my BBC homepage is showing a red 'broken box' symbol. Clicking the 'i' tells me the "Connection is not Secure". Should I do anything, or will this be rectified without my assistance?

Just ignore this. You know BBC is a site which u can trust, because it's world famous. It hasn't been set as "Not secure" and is just loading when I visit the site.

I would just ignore it, but if it keeps bothering you, please leave a reply, or wait till someone else on this forum, knows the solution.

It is likely that the BBC home page isn't meant to be accessed via a secure HTTPS connection.

Are you using an extension to force a secure connection or are you using an open HTTP connection?

In case of the latter you can ignore this message like posted above as this is quite normal.
