past couple days, Dec 15, 2016, yahoo mail is corrupted with the indicator s.yimg.com hanging in the lower left hand page this just spins and hangs on forever; cant access yahoo email..had the account for 16 yrs! using Gmail backup account; not savvy enough to import all the particulars from Yahoomail to Googlemail....or I would

anyway to rid this invader; tried running my antivirus, Malwarebytes Premium; it negates trying to download Spyhunter, advertised as being able to rid this thing.

Tried a Windows system restore; tried a Firefox refresh, nothing works to kick this sputtering pain in the butt away

found some files, under Start menu that had the name s.yimg.com on them, thought about trying to delete them but figured might make things worse.

there was a fix of code, two separate paragraphs on a suggestion posted online....but afraid to copy and paste in browser not sure thats what somebody would do...

HI thanks for the link what do I do with it? clicking on it takes me to several urls with info. How do I actually rid myself of this thing or at least get my mail function back? first choice of options is two paragraphs of code--not sure what to do with that next choice option is getting the download removal tool--should I download that? can you be more specific what and how to do this? I'm a piano player not espcially versed in tech... thanks a bunch for all the help...hopefully we get a solution I can understand and execute.
