Firefox crashes

Yesterday I started firefox around 3:00 pm and today it reached at 2.7 GB and crashed with message:

Unfortunately, the crash reporter is unable to submit a report for this crash. Details: The application did not identify itself.

No extension added extra before the crash happened. This crash has started appearing from very yesterday.

hi Mayur Patil, you are using a rather outdated version - please update to the current firefox 48.0.2 where this particular crash is already fixed.

Update Firefox to the latest release
