Unknown app changed my home pg and notification window locks up firefox.

My old home page tabs show up and then a window stating my home page was changed by another app. It asks if I want to use the new home page or restore the old one, but the machine locks I need the Task Manager to exit it. Running Win 10. I've had to change browsers to post this.

You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
