Im using latest version of firefox android. When I close the browser, it logs me out of the site automatically and then I will have to login again. I have cookies allowed(default setting) and delete data on quit is also off. I don't know what seems to be the problem. If anybody know a fix please share it.
Thanks, Deepak

I have noticed that mobile browsers (including Firefox Mobile) don't seem to give you the option to clear cookies and other website data on close while preserving website info/cookies of sites you want to keep logged into.
Is this a feature that will eventually be implemented in Firefox? Or is there some kind of limitation in Android/iOS that makes implementing this not possible or tricky?
Did you remove or discontinue the feature to reduce cookie banners? I use Firefox Nightly.

I have searched in vain to find a way to keep cookies for a certain site on my android. Everything I see says to go to privacy in settings, but that doesn't exist on my phone's browser.
It's really irritating to have the site always send me an email, warning me that I have logged in, as well as insisting on texting me a code. Telling it to recognize my device does nothing if the cookies are deleted. (And, no, I'm not going to set it to always save all cookies when I choose "quit" on the browser.)
Please add this ability, Firefox! My computer browser has had the ability for years and years.

The Delete Browsing Data option, manually or by the quit button, doesn't clear cookies if the tab is still open.
Simple example: go to youtube.com, search for anything, e.g. "asmr". In the same tab, go to a new site, e g. google.com. Then go to settings and Delete Browsing Data, with all selected but downloads. Now, all tabs are closed, so in a new tab go to youtube.com, and click in the search and the previous search, e.g. "asmr", shows up in a droplist.
This droplist behavior shouldn't occur when all data is cleared. This behavior doesn't occur if the tab is closed before Delete Browsing History is selected.

Hello, I believe that my Firefox android browser updated to version 113 on May 19, 2023. Up until that point, I had no issues with getting notifications sent to my device from the web version of YouTube accessed through Firefox. I could refresh the page and leave the Firefox app and still receive notifications. Ever since the update, every time the YouTube page is reloaded (which also happens when you leave the app) the Desktop Notifications toggle in the YouTube desktop mode settings switches to off. I can switch this toggle back on, the page is refreshed, and this toggle (and only this toggle) automatically switches to off. This happens every time and I am no longer receiving notificationsto my device. The YouTube app for Android is not involved in this, as I use Firefox to access the web version YouTube as an alternative. Please provide information that can help resolve this issue and/or please make a note of this issue so it can be resolved in the future. Thank you so much.

I login on youtube, it stays logged in while I'm using it but I have to keep logging in again and again after I turn off the app or remove the tabs. Please help.

So i signed up in few websites and after completing my work instead of logging out I simply deleted everything history, cookies and all and I've disabled saving password info. But when I again open Firefox I'm still logged in. It doesn't happen in chrome why Firefox kept me logged in websites after clearing all cookies. Is there any solution to this?
