Currently I'm running Firefox Android 140.0 on Android 15, though this issue has been present for the past two to three years, though it has started to occur more often in the past six months.

When browsing Private Tabs, the browser will regularly close all these tabs on its own, unprompted, and show the New Tab page for Private Tabs. This is visualised by a slide left animation, similar to switching between tabs by swiping across the navigation bar. Sometimes, this also occurs when switching apps, even though Firefox is locked to prevent its background task from being killed. Normal tabs are not refreshed. The “Close Tabs” setting is set to Never. The specific websites accessed do not change anything, as they are different each time.

Steps to reproduce problem:

1. Open several (5-10) Private tabs
2. Browse as normal
3. After a couple of days, whilst browsing, all Private tabs will close themselves. Alternatively, lock the Firefox app in multitasking view, then switch apps for a minute and then return (this tends to happen at random after a couple of days).

so i use ome tv on Firefox using user agent switcher EXTENSION. but when i connect to ome tv i cant flip the camera option in the down left it wont flip and it lags when connecting with other people please fix or help

I already reported this and still nothing changed

can't flip the camera bottom left. and it keeps crashing while talking to people

downloaded user agent switcher EXTENSION. switched to ios ipad (because that's the only way you can use ome tv on a android browser). go to ome tv site . logged in.

Actual results:

the camera flip option in the bottom left not working!! it just shows my rear camera

This is offered as Mozilla support but it mihht never be answered

Please tell me my sign in email so I can check passwords and logins in Firefox for a uRL subscription that suddenly doesn't work on my 

Android.

I've noticed the apparition of a share icon over the address bar in the most recent version(s), probably since v139 or 140.

I don't mind it as such, I don't mind personally having to tap on the vertical three dots either to access it but in some situations, it is actually taking a bit more real-estate on my address bar than I'd like, in fact making reading the address url impossible.

Is there any chance it could be hidden or at least optional (in settings)?

I am prompted to FINISH SETUP. When I click on the button a pop up asking me to FINISH SETTING UP FIREFOX by completing 5 steps. All are checked. Nothing happens nor is there a button to execute the operation. How do I complete the SETUP?

I am using Firefox on Android 6.0.1 (OPPO A57). I enabled the “external download manager” option in Firefox settings because I want to use 1DM (One Download Manager) to handle all file downloads.

However, when I tap on a download link in Firefox, it still uses the built-in downloader and does not give me the option to open 1DM or any external app.

Is there a way to force Firefox to launch 1DM (or any external download manager) when clicking on download links? Please guide me. If not possible, is there a version or workaround that supports this on Android 6?

hi im alexsio and im curious to how do i stop getting broken sites in firefox and how do i sync google and microsoft to update their platforms to the same settings

Firefox search was not working for some thinfs like Yahoo or google so I uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would fix it. Before that I tried clearing the cache and restarting my phone. When I reinstalled most of my bookmarks on the initial page have dissappeared. Is there a way to recover them or can someone on your end send me a list or something so I can bookmark them again manually? Please help ASAP?!

How do you stop auto refresh while on Facebook website? I'm using Firefox for Android and I access my SocMed accounts via websites no resource giving app. With that said I guess FB has page refresh enforced into the it's HTML and it's very annoying. I've set my PC browser to block auto refresh but can't find a solution for Android.

Guys, the only issue I have is that Firefox for Android can't import/export bookmarks.html. I've tested a few others, especially one called Kiwi, and even Brave. I understand that they're Chromium based, but why can't the same functionality be built into Firefox? I think that the Sync function is too limiting. Other than that, I LOVE Firefox, have used it on PC for years and have always enjoyed the experience. It's just that I use my phone to do a great many things these days, rather than using my laptop, so the bookmark import/export feature would just make it perfect for me 😊.
