Hi tonto1, prefs.js is a script file listing Firefox settings. It's possible that your scanner does not like something listed in there, but if you delete it, then your home page, new tab page pinned tiles, and various other settings will return to default values, which may not be necessary. Does it give any more detail on the problem?
