The Firefox 'Downloads, Save Files To.." location appears to be disconnected from reality. If I indicate either of the Documents or Desktop folders as the preferred save location, both of those folders present as being empty when in fact they both have numerous files/directories. Even if I try to save in "+ Other Locations", those locations are limited to the same as presented in the 'Browse' window of Home, Desktop, Documents and Downloads. Only the Downloads folder displays correctly.

Also as a result of this limited save location, I can only retrieve a file from the Downloads folder (the attached file was saved in my Documents folder but I had to move it to Downloads.

Why does the saving behavior behave like this?

I'm getting so fed up with parts of ebay not working after automatic Firefox updates. Every few months and usually on a Friday morning (this is when Ebay does it weekly tech maintenance) and after a recent Firefox update, something packs the job in on Ebay!. This time it's the listings, ALL of them!. My watchlist page is working fine, I can scroll down and everything is loading, photo's, text etc but, I go to search for an item and it's all over the place, not loading, filter buttons have a mind of their own, slow or non existent listings and filter side bar etc, etc. When I exit Ebay, Firefox won't reload. I have to wait for it to get itself back together, usually a few minutes later. Yet on other browsers it's running fine. I've done everything! (I've had a lot of experience with this issue) I've disabled enhanced tracking, cleared cache etc, uninstalled Ebay and Firefox and re-installed them. It works fine on ipad, phone and other browsers just not Firefox desktop! WHAT IS THE PROBLEM??? AND WHY SO @@@@@@@ OFTEN!!! I really can't take it any more. for over 15 years I've been fighting with this, I'm tired! PLEASE!!! SOMEONE AT FIREFOX, HELP!!! AT THE VERY LEAST, TALK TO EBAY AND SORT THIS OUT, FOR EVERYONE'S SAKE!

every time I try to log into a google account I get a 400 error message. I deleted all cache and cookies multiple times scoured the help forums and tried all the fixes and I still get a 400 error. please help.

Firefox is up to date, I am using ProtonVPN. When connecting to the VPN from the desktop app firefox will not load any pages. If I connect through the browser extension the internet functions properly. other apps and browsers perform as expected

using (file, edit, view) type page and would like to change the bookmarks dropdown menu i would like to get rid of: Bookmark current tab, seach bookmarks, bookmark all tabs and the separators i don't use tabs, i just open new windows if i can't delete them, would like to be able to move them to the bottom thank you

I've been a Firefox user for ages but in the last week I haven't been able to use it at all. Every time I launch the desktop browser it gives me a blank page. I can type in addresses but they never take me anywhere. No google. Can't access settings. Nothing. I've tried seemingly everything. Safe mode. Administrator. Deleted everything and installer at least 5 times to try and start from scratch to no avail. Tried Revo. Tried multiple anti-malware cleans. System updates. Tried using older versions of Firefox. Everything short of a factory reset on the whole desktop which I'm really trying to avoid. I've checked every Reddit thread and forum post I could get my hands on and nothing is working. Does anyone know how to get Firefox working again? I've tried other browsers and hate them I would really like to keep using FF if I can. Picture shows what the app has looked like every time I boot it up or try to search anything for the past week.

For some time now, firefox literally has NO horizontal scrollbar, even on sites when it is clearly needed.

How do I make it visible? Is it a Windows 10 & 11 thing?

Also, before anyone suggests it, several posts online mention to go to Settings > General > Browsing > Always show scrollbars. These posts are over a year old, however, and this option DOES NOT exist.

I'm expressing a strong dislike for the very shortened list of paper sizes in Firefox in the Print function.

One big reason I use Firefox over Chrome and MS Edge is the long list of paper sizes. Now the list is a small fraction of what was there. And how many people know what sizes are the likes of A4, B3, JIS-B4. It takes extra time to figure out what works best.

The old list with Letter Plus, Letter Extra, Legal Plus, etc. was MUCH MORE useful. If I were to eliminate anything, it would be the meaningless A5, B5, etc.

At least give us an option of the old or too short new list of paper sizes.

If my comments aren't appropriate in this forum, please provide a link to where I can submit it.

Hi, I am using Firefox browser on Windows 11, Dell machine with Cirruslogic sound driver There is sound intrruptions when a new music source has started while a music already playing on another tab. While a radio or youtube music stream playing on a tab (in background) and if other tab starts a new sound like youtube or video an any page when started the music background got interrupted (like a small pause operation). If I do the same with chrome or opera, the music goes on without promblem seamlesly. Also if a music stream continues, opening a new music stream on chrome do es not effects. So, the only proble ise with opening sound from different tabs interrups each other on only Firefox browser PS:I am using the Treestyle tab extension. Been having this issue for about a year. Paypal appears, recognizes me, then message "Something went wrong, return to Merchant" MAC OS 15.3.1 Firefox 136.0.1

I've cleared cache. Paypal just says clear cache, they don't know Firefox. I see another person having this issue but don't see a resolution. I've posted in various help communities Not getting an answer. I assume there is a setting I have because I have no problems on Safari. I'm not sure I know how to disable extension or what extension might be causing this.

Hi, I'd love some help with this issue please. I have just bought a new Surface laptop and enabled sync from my desktop. But many of the bookmarks and none of the bookmark folders came across. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but with the same result. I have an old Surface laptop that the new one is replacing and the syncing has worked perfectly on that. Any help would be really appreciated. Cheers, Graham

Occasionally I am getting completely blank pages, which are otherwise normally displayed on other browsers. Neighbouring pages on the same website are displayed normally. the condition appears with or without VPN used.
