Why are you trying to chase people away, after update i had to reinstall it cause nothing functioned right, now I have to jump through hoops just to install ad Guard. It should not be this difficult to use a website. I think I will move over to chrome where they actually try to make life easier and not more difficult

I am trying to change my search over to Mozilla and firefox. When I open up the firebox search the google search pops in. Why? I already discouraged because I know they are attempting control. The last two years I have been hacked almost every month. The whole problem has been ongoing for almost 20 years.

I'm on windows 10 in EU with the free extended support. Everytime I open a new tab a banner appears asking me to enable backup to prepare for windows 11. I DON'T want to enable backup. I clicked dismiss but it keeps showing up all the time, it's incredibly annoying.

The add-on never worked well for me and cause glitches, so I disabled and uninstalled it. But I noticed now that trying to access Google Maps via Firefox in the Android app is completely broken. The site is in a constant loading/stopping loop, flickering the address between Google Maps and the new blank page tab. There's nothing on the page, it's just white. It will keep infinitely loading and unloading itself. My computer is fine and loads Google Maps without issue, it's just the android app of Firefox on my phone that's bugging out.

  • This happens regardless of whether Canvas Blocker is installed, disabled, or uninstalled. I even tried disabling uBlock Origin thinking it might've been doing something, but it did nothing.
  • I've tried clearing the cache, it didn't work.
  • I tried clearing cookies, it didn't work.
  • I went into my Apps in Settings on my phone to clear the cache, it didn't work.
  • I restarted my phone, it didn't work.
  • My Firefox app on my phone is updated, and my phone is updated too.
  • This still happens in Private Browsing.

I can't access about: pages on my phone, so I'm completely lost on why this is broken or if this is even fixable at all. The person who made the Canvas Blocker add-on extension didn't address my issue and ignored me entirely.

I know I can just use the Google Maps app, but I don't have the space on my phone for it and I don't like how a site is broken on Firefox.

I don't wanna have to clear all my app data and uninstall and reinstall the Firefox app, I'll lose all my bookmarks and settings and add-on settings. Can anyone help me please?

I have followed all the other recommendations with, no luck. I am on Windows 11 and use Eset virus software. Thunderbird is not listed as running it Task Manager, and there is no Profile.lock (think that was what it was called) in the profile directory, and I have deleted the existing profiles and recreated it. I have uninstalled and reinstall Thunderbird, and I have rebooted my computer. I am frustrated and concerned I will loose saved emails and my address book! Help.

When I launch Firefox, the first page, search function, bookmarks, or any pre-existing tabs fail to load and instead default to the homepage. On the second attempt, everything functions properly until I restart the app. After closing it, this bug occurs again and again. I would appreciate it if you could address this issue. Hi, I am hoping that the community can help me find an answer to this. I have two computers that I use for work. The one in the office has TB running all the time and before I leave for the weekend/vacation I would close TB, copy the profile folder to a USB (or copy it to cloud) and then paste the profile folder on my work laptop (at home). While all the settings get copied (local folders structure, addons etc.) as I use IMAP, it downloads all the mail on the new system regardless. I thought that it should have the latest mail downloaded as part of the profile folder, is that not the case? The bigger issue is that none of the Completed Tasks Lists, Templates, etc. get updated. It still shows all the older stuff on the work laptop and no updates carry over from the PC (at work). Going through the profile folder I see multiple copies of the files prefs.js, folderCache.json, global-messages-db.sqlite appended as: prefs-computername.js and folderCache-computername.json etc. (The computername is the name of the PC - office/laptop) The profile name is the same between the two computers. TB is only started after the profile is copied locally. TB version is the same between systems. I am left scratching my head why somethings are copied but not others. Hoping that the community can help me here. Thanks!
