Why my Firefox is using 1.9Gb of memory with just 2 pages and 1 download? This is making my Intel I7 with 8Gb of memory performing like a AT 286

I am just with 2 tabs open and 1 download in course, and I do not have a clue why my firefox is using 1.9Gb. It makes no sense. I am about to delete firefox.

You should try to reset Firefox. This will help with alot of Firefox issues. Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
