When I go to check email, page tells me: "Firefox currently offline mode, cannot browse net. How do I fix?

Page comes uo stating: FIREFOX IS CURRENTLY IN OFFLINE MODE, CANNOT BROWSE NET. 

I have to keep Restarting Mac desktop to be able to get on  website I want.........

In FILE menu UNcheck Workoffline, exit firefox and restart it.
