Can not use facebook aplications. Pages are blank. Why?

Facebook recently had an update to their program. Since then, when I try to access applications, all I get are blank pages. They will not fully load, no matter what I do. All browsers and flash player are updated. Have tried the reload button, nothing seems to work. What can I do?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Did not solve problem. My applications work in Safari, but not Firefox.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

You can still try Save mode to check if an extension is causing the problem, that also applies to a Mac.

Removing cookies seems to have worked after all. Now I have this huge blank space, and have to scroll down to play games.
