Accessibilty denied constantly by firefox and ui changes.
Greetings, I am on the spectrum with aspergers. I have issues with organization, lining up objects, etc, but I am highly intelligent and present well. I have no doubt society is aware of all the tropes that surround folks with my......difference. I have an incredibly hard dealing with change, and it sometimes wrecks my mental health. The changes are constantly throwing my health and welfare for a loop, and it is really harmful.
Everytime I get firefox setup to where I am comfortable, something new gets shoved down my throat. How to stop the constant feature change diarrhea abuse is inflicting on my health? Recent example. I only use 2 search engines, and I cant deal with the rest, its a colour thing sorry. I have had my search engines set up like this for 14 years.
Recently, firefox decided that I should go for another life rollercoaster, even though I didn't ask for it, and that I should permanently have things like history bookmarks tabs and actions as search engines, and they shouldn't be removable.
I don't have a history, as I value my privacy. I don't have bookmarks, because I remember everything and it sucks, and I type about 350 wpm. Tabs information is within history, so I see firefox as duplication idiots in this case, and I don't do any actions, not even sure what they are and I really don't care at all.
My parents are considering a lawsuit against firefox for accessibility issues like this, as 1 of my dad's best friends is an accessibility lawyer.
How can i stop firefox from constantly flipping my autism world upside down? I don't want my parents to sue them because it will bring a lot of attention on me.
Please help me re-normalize the internet for spectrum users.

Thanks for the support Firefox
clapham.o, you might want to look into the Extended Support Release (ESR) version of Firefox. It maintains up-to-date security and bugfixes, but only adds new features once a year or so. People can use this edition if they would prefer the Firefox features and UI etc. to remain stable and consistent for much longer periods.
The ESR version of Firefox can be found here: https://www.firefox.com/download/all/desktop-esr/

I appreciate your response TechHorse, but this just delays the same problems 1000s are looking to address. The fact that this continues after 30+ years indicates to me that a lawsuit is nessecary to wake up Mozilla.

Isn't accessibility all about designing products so that they are easily accessible?
These things: history, bookmarks, tabs and actions are obviously removable. See the following picture:
Im sorry, TyDraniu, are you implying these things can be removed by unchecking a box? I can assure that isn't the case. What you are showing is where you allow suggestions to be made, as a top 10 contributor, you should know that.
Im going to have to use the courts.
clapham.o, what would be your wish for Firefox?
Should it never add new features or change UI elements at all? And so pretty much still be Firefox v1.0 but with modern security updates?
Or is it OK for Firefox to change every now and again, but this must be at a slower change rate than even the once per year offered by ESR?
Or should it maintain multiple different feature and UI sets, so that the person who wants things to stay as they were in Firefox v87.0 say can have this?

It's about accessibility and how different people are different abled.
When you get used to doing something a certain way, then it changes, it's a loss of familiarity for those on the spectrum. For some, that's all they have.
We hyper protect little children in society for the same reason, familiarity is all they have, but the adults with the same emotional ability get fucked over.
I'm lucky enough i appear like the rest of you, not different, but i can assure you that i am.
To me, i want the Firefox i downloaded. If i want other features, i go look for them.
Just imagine if Ford or Chevy just showed up and move your steering wheel to the back seat, or the brake pedal to the front bumper, WITHOUT ASKING YOU.
I don't believe any software should change other than security UPDATES. Then none of these problems would exist. If you wanted 4 button across the top for new tab/ private tab/ send to phone/groups, THEN GO DOWNLOAD THAT VERSION OF FIREFOX WITH THAT FEATURE. Not everyone uses every feature, we know that for sure, but this is opposite of helpful. It's really simple to allow users to literally turn various on or off, but they won't do that and for some folks that really throws then for a loop.
Many software companies today appear to me at least, to be foaming at the mouth totally desperate to invent the next great feature. And i haven't seen a great feature since tabs. All i get is disturbed and i walk away from the internet for days and weeks, it's so harmful.

Before you even consider a lawsuit against Mozilla and not the desktop Firefox web browser. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/about/legal/terms/firefox/#you-wont-claim-mozilla-is-responsible-for-your-use-of-firefox-indemnification
Not my problem, I'm not the lawyer, but i do know that in law, with children, and also with accessibility, those "responsibility waivers" get denied all the time due to 'reasonable accommodation'.
But here we all sit with zero accommodations from Firefox, zero comments from Firefox, and zero empathy from Firefox.
