Why does my older computer running Windows 7 keep losing the ability to access "https:// sites"?

To resolve, I have to reset the network adapter (sometimes successful) or restart the computer to access these sites.

Hi there! This may be due to how old windows 7 is and how well it can connect to sites. I recommend upgrading to a new windows version so this problem can be resolved.

My current computer will not handle Windows 10 or Windows 11. Trying to avoid buying new computer as long as possible. This is just a recent problem and it is intermittent. Possible Mozilla upgrade problem or network adapter partial incompatibility.

I guess these websites have dropped support for Windows 7 and Mozilla provides only security patches. Try to change your user agent to Windows 10 using this extension.
