Block Site Extension

If I use extension 'Block Site' (shows up as a stop-sign shaped icon with a 'W' on it) to block a site, when I try to unblock it, it fails, with the below message:

"This operation cannot be performed in incognito mode. Please open the page in a regular browsing window and try again."

I am just clicking on the (whichever) site, from a search - not opening a private window... This extension used to work fine.

I did install DuckDuckGo browser, but removed it, as it was more trouble than it was worth. I would have to reboot my PC after each use before FireFox would connect.

Chosen solution

Never mind. There is a option to 'always open a link in a private window' which is not the words, but is what it means. I had turned it on a while ago, and that's what the problem was...
