Hi there,

I use extensively tags in my workflow, and I just switched from Gmail to Thunderbird. My only problem is that in Thunderbird, tags apply to a single message and not to the whole thread.

In other words, if I reply to an email with a certain tag, the answer is not tagged.

Is there a way to apply tags to a message and then the whole thread will keep the same tag?

Hello, The only thing that you can do is to select the main message, close the thread and apply the tag. By doing this the whole conversation will get a tag. This would not solve you the case for new messages, but you can retag them from time to time.
