Regarding how Firefox starts up, another user mentioned yesterday that Firefox will now always start in a regular/non-private tab (https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1524812). I think the workaround for now is to put a "Private Firefox" shortcut on your home screen. That opens a new private tab. See the "Add a private browsing shortcut" section of this article: Private Browsing on Firefox for Android.

I'm not sure what this problem is:

Is that problem with search suggestions (as you are typing in the address bar)? Are the suggestions missing, or they can't be selected? Please explain that one in more detail.

Thank you very much, it is solved. However i don t understand the upgrade, it seems it is in fact a downgrade as one of the things firefox stand out it's the privacy!

It was about the recommendation below, i don't have these options in my menu.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/private-browsing-use-firefox-without-history#:~:text=Select%20the%20Privacy%20&%20Security%20panel,use%20private%20browsing%20mode%20setting.

Oh, that article is for the "desktop" version of Firefox (Windows, Mac, Linux). Firefox for Android doesn't have a 100% automatic private browsing mode.

Right. Thank you! I hope the next version will fix it, if this is the new line with the upgrades I need to find another browser which values the privacy...
