message to folders
When I downloaded Thunderbird, all the folders from my e-mail account downloaded; but, I could not move a message from the Inbox to a folder. Today, when I opened Thunderbird, all my folders disappeared. Please advise. Thanks, Dan

IMAP folders other than the inbox and trash require a functional connection to the mail server. My guess is you don't have one. Did you antivirus software firewall decide to block Thunderbird?
If you have trouble figuring it out, you can quickly test whether something like AV is causing this.
