If you disable and re-enable DRM, does your Firefox then download and install Widevine? See: Watch DRM content on Firefox. If that doesn't work, hmm, perhaps there is a way to manually install it on BSD.
there isn't an option for DRM in firefox I have compiled on my computer I have a laptop running ubuntu and has DRM in the installed firefox! not sure if there is a manual way
There are some builds of Firefox that don't have DRM for protest reasons (the builder doesn't believe in DRM). I don't know whether that affects yours, or maybe it is a config/makefile option. Could you check the documentation for the code you're working from?
