I need to scan a document and attach it to an email. It has been years since I did this and don't remember how to do it now. Need help to scan on my printer so that I can attach from my scans file.

That goes beyond what Firefox forum is for browser help. You can go online for your specific device support on how scan and attach to email.

Hopefully your printer has a manual, or your printer manufacturer has online guidance.
(I never figured out how to scan documents directly to my computer. I always have to stick a little USB flash drive into the printer and use that ferry the scans over to the computer.)
