What security software are you running?

more options

malwarebytes

The file that seems be causing the crash is linked to the MalwareBytes software in your device.

Is that software up to date?

more options

It is supposed to up date automatically, but I just found it had not done a recent update. We will see what happens in the next day or two. Thank you!

You should disable it, reboot and test again.

That looks like an OOM (out of memory) problem with WebRender.

It looks like you were in Safe Mode (Troubleshoot Mode) with the crash report you attached. Do you get similar crash signature in regular mode ?

Do you let Windows handle the Page file automatically or have you set a fixed size for the Windows Page File ?

  • Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Performance -> Settings

If you use a fixed size for the page file then try the automatic setting and let Windows handle the page file size automatically.

Virtual Memory Custom Maximum Size is 3814 MB. The recommended size is 1652 MB. Is that what you are meaning? Should I change that? Maybe I went to the wrong area, because your steps were not the exact ones to get me to the Page File area. Should I check the box for "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives"? Odd that I would have to change the setting when it worked fine until a couple of weeks ago.

Can we get a screenshot of the performance tab from taskmanger?

In your previous post, what did you want me to disable and test again? I have attached the screenshot of the Performance tab from Task Manager.

Malwarebytes. Disable, reboot and try again.
