I cannot sign in to my EA.com/pogo account because they require me to obtain a code through my e-mail account. After I check "Send code" a pop up appears in the lower left hand corner "javascript:void(0);" and I never receive the code.bold text I press shift+F5 and check inspector and debugger . A "main menu" appears and "pogo" appears then" sign in pogo" appears. I have tried everything to find out how to delete it but to no avail. It appears also after doing some clicking on the right side of the DOM that http is still showing up in the error listing, so I have changed the options in the foxfire privacy controls to all 3 different options but it didn't help. I really believe that was about the time Foxfire put this option to use https instead of http. I have also asked for help from search on the internet for fixing a Javascript:void(0) error and even paid to obtain the app as recommended by Microsoft called Restro, but it didn't repair it either and I did get a refund from them. This only happened to me about November or December when I tried to sign in to play pogo. I have a paid up subscription to them and have contacted them numerous times but they won't help me--only once I was told by a rep in Facebook to delete my cache & cookies which I had done from the beginning. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know on this site or e-mail me at d-bar-ranch@hotmail.com. I do not have any trouble with receiving e-mails...except from ea.com/pogo .Thanks... Hi Myrtle, developers sometimes assign "javascript:void(0);" as the address of a link that is intended to trigger a script. What that address does it make the link do nothing, so if the script also doesn't work, nothing happens when you click it.

I don't have an EA account, so I don't think I can get to the specific place that is giving you trouble.

Can you compare what happens when you click that link in a different browser like Microsoft Edge? For example, is there an overlay that appears on the page, or some other display that is not visible in Firefox?

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages about blocked content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:

You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"

"Clear the Cache":

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
