Multiple "From" addresses in drop down menu

I tries to add a google gmail account and was unsuccessful. When composing a message I see the erroneous gmail address in the "From" drop down menu. How can I delete it?

Running TBird 60.3.2 on an iMAC.

The account doers NOT appear in the Tools/Account Settings. It is an account I tried to set up in TBIRD and could not do it. I did not realize I had to set up an account in GoogleMail BEFORE I "mapped" it to TBird. It is a "vestigial" account name somewhere in TBIRD that shows in the From window when composing an email.
