My email is linked to a Gmail account and if I open the Gmail browser the emails are showing in my inbox but in Thunderbird they are nowhere to be seen. If I hit select all on the Inbox, it will show as highlighting 45 emails but the total inbox shows that there is supposed to be 51 emails right now. I just don't have visibility for this one vendor that has sent me six emails. I don't have this issue with anybody else. Funny thing is that he has emailed from both a Gmail and a business email and neither are showing. I can't find anything that is showing him on a blocked list or anything like that. What could be causing this issue?

Try resetting the index:

  • Right click on 'Inbox' folder and select 'Properties'
  • click on 'Repair folder'
  • click on 'OK'

Is this a pop or imap mail account?

'Are they in your 'Junk' folder ?
