Saved Password Not Works If Subdomain Within Main Domain

Posted

I have saved password for Facebook. Not the fact is, facebook have few subdomain like web.facebook.com, www.facebook.com and for mobile, m.facebook.com or mobile.facebook.com If I saved password for www.facebook.com, it wont show for web.facebook.com.

Note: it's facebook who change login page based on internet connection.

This is the intended behavior of Firefox. Since a subdomain can be an entirely different website with an entirely different login, Firefox doesn't transfer saved passwords across multiple subdomains.

You will have to save the password on those subdomains too in order to be able to use them.
