Feb. 6, 2018 After recent update of Foxfire, I cannot open any of my Outlook emails (inbox/junk) without having to double right click each, when then foxfire opens up a second window, where I have to click inside it, which takes me to that sender's home page. Cannot do any anything in the original email: Scrolling, opening links-nothing. Have already tried FF's 'Refresh' option a few times-right after, email works ok sometimes, but then goes back to this annoying habit.

Feb. 12, 2018 I am a know-nothing about computers, so please accept my apology ahead of time. I had started to suspect an incompatibility between my web browsing security program (ESET) AND this newest update from FF. I tinkered around with the my own security program ( here's where the apology comes in), changed a couple of internet security settings (don't remember which ones), and, viola`, it is working as cleanly as before FF's latest update. I am hoping this little tidbit of info. can help those who have a better knowledge/understanding of the interworld can cobble together something that will help all people with this problem.

So, I am Not the only one! An outlook Service Tech advised me it was a problem many of their consumers were already complaining about (I reached out to Outlook appx. 20 min. AFTER downloading FF's updated browser). Hello! Can you please fix this most aggravating issue?

No kittylvr, you are not the only 1..This is pathetic..after the latest update, Outlook will not open at all or if it does, it continually refreshes itself..and yes I even tried using Outlook beta..Outlook operates fine in any other browser WIN 10 Pro 64bit

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove the cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Clear the cache:

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove the cookies" from websites that cause problems.

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Cache and cookies were both cleared and still same nightmare..at first was having issues getting links to open in Outlook, switched to beta Outlook and that helped...but Firefox went through and did another update last night and this AM...Outlook wont open properly and when it does open, it continually refreshes itself.
