Re-set to default and cannot remember how to have tabs show on the side of the window, rather than on the top?

Awhile back, Firefox offered a different view, in which open tabs displayed as icons along the side of the main window/currently open tab.

Two days ago, I had to re-set Firefox to original defaults and I cannot remember or figure out how to put the tabs back alongside the main window. It was a great way for me to work because it was easier for me to see what was going on in the other tabs that I had open, without having to actually click on the tab at the top.

Does anybody in FireFox remember how to do this?

Hi, I don't recall that ever being a Firefox option, so you must have been using an add-on - perhaps https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-tree/ However that will stop working in v57 due for release in mid-November when 'Legacy' add-ons are disabled, so I suggest you try https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tree-tabs/ which is a WebExtension so won't be affected.
