Hi   !

At the moment you can only do this with Firefox for Android .....

You can try to set this pref to true on the about:config page.

  • browser.casting.enabled = true

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

In case the above doesn't do the trick, you could try this add-on as a workaround :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/open-in-chrome-browser/

Sorry to bump this but I can't find the about:config switch and I read elsewhere that the chromecast libraries were proprietary and hence it has been integrated only in Firefox for android. If anyone lands on this question, the alternative that I could find that works in Mac and Linux is mkchromecast .

Once you're on the 'about:config' page, type in the search bar : browser.casting. and then look for that preference.

The   OP   is on Windows ....... But this may be helpful to users who are on Mac or Linux, so : thank you  !
