I have Firefox 50.1 for the Mac and when I try to sign in to apple's forum

It has my password saved in Firefox but it is incorrect when I try to log in but I am able ot log into Apple forum manually. Normally firefox prompts to update the password but Firefox did not.

I think this is an functional error in Firefox 50.1

Type about:preferences#security<enter> in the address bar.

Under Logins, Turn on Remember Logins To check the passwords you have listed, press Saved Logins.
