My gmail is on my flash drive zipped up. When I try to unzip it says "unable to find software to open this file"

I'm guessing this is why when I go to "tools/import/export/mbox file" I get "impossible to import in this folder" ?

OR

When I try to path out via "tools/import/export/import messages" and I path out to where they zip file is it doesn't show anything

What does this mean? What exactly is zipped? What format has the zipped data? What kind of files are zipped?

I have no idea how you're trying to unzip the archive, but my best guess is you're doing something wrong. In any case, this has got nothing to do with Thunderbird.

What exactly are you trying to import, when you didn't even manage to unzip the archive yet? Import to where?

So what are you trying to achieve in the first place?
