stop firefox sync tab opening

Hi. I do not want to create a sync account. When I open Firefox it always opens 2 tabs, one being the create/ sign into sync page. How do I stop this tab opening when: 1. When I first open Firefox and 2. When I open a new tab.

Change your home page at Preferences/Options > General.
