Hi. I have noticed over the last few weeks, so maybe related to the 155.

If I am on a website with links the browser doesn't respond to many links, in fact no links most of the time.

This only happens usually after the first link has worked. There is no data in the status bar for the link.

If I close the link I have opened, always in a new tab, then other links will then work.

It is as it the details of the URL path are not being recognised, almost like something is saying : Hey you are already looking at this site don't be greedy and expect me to open multiple page with the same domain.

I did see a similar query a while ago but can't find it.

So not a critical problem.

Oh yes. When this happens I also cannot right-click to open in a new tab as an alternative.

Hope everyone is having at least a half decent day. :)

The recent changes to the right-click menu on YouTube are a backward step. The menu is now cluttered with options I don't use, while the useful “Open in New Window” option has disappeared. I regularly use this function and having to use Shift+click instead is unnecessarily inconvenient. Please consider restoring “Open in New Window” to the context menu. Not every new feature is an improvement, and sometimes the simple, familiar options are the ones users actually want.

when I get new tab I don't seem to be able to connect with web site I am asking for. In addition right click not dot get the menu of command. I just updated with 154.0

see above- nothing works I have not installed most recent update as I have been at a hospital 9 days with wife in ICU I really need to pay bills very soon and return to normal, loving on her and loving Firefox loyal 10 yr user- hope you can help will check tomorrow-thanks

When I am in a web page and am asked to link to another URL using the standard link system, it never works. It is a black image framing choices of which browser I want to use and "Firefox" is usually highlighted. When I click on the link, nothing happens. I want to know how to make it work, because the actual URL is seldom if ever listed. I'll send an image to help (I hope).

If I click on a YouTube link in another app, say Bluesky or my RSS reader or something, and Safari is my default browser, as soon as it realizes I have a YouTube link it jumps to the YouTube app.

Firefox instead opens the YouTube link in a Firefox tab, and has an “Open in App?” banner along the top.

How can I skip that middle step? This is pretty annoying.

Mac Mini Pro M4, MacOs 26.6.1, Firefox 153.0.4 When I click on a "mailto" link I get a pop up that says select an app for mailto. In this popup, Firefox shows as the suggested app. I click on it and I get a message that says This Can Be Changed in Firefox Settings. When i select Firefox in this popup nothing happens. When I look at the mailto setting in Firefox it clearly says Firefox. Help. Thanks, Pete D.

If I tap on a YouTube link in an app like my RSS reader or Bsky, and Safari is my default browser, it launches the YouTube app correctly.

Why can’t I skip the middleman? The only setting I can find is “Block links opening in external apps” which is disabled.

Windows 10, Firefox 131, Thunderbird 91.13 I set Firefox as default browser - I can't open links from Thunderbird in Firefox. I set Chrome as default browser - I can open links from Thundebird in Chrome. How can I fix or debug this?

This latest update to 153.0.4, which I did a few days after being notified, it messed up firefox. Finally rebooted, got it up again and now if I right click, I do not get the " open in new tab" option, eg, on youtube videos.

How to reproduce: 1) Set Firefox as the default browser 2) Completely quit Firefox 3) Open a URL (e.g. open Spotlight, type a query, select "Search the web", or any of the many other ways) 4) Observe Firefox opens but does not open a tab with the externally requested URL

This used to work fine. It still works on Windows. Reproduced on two different Macs. If Firefox is already running, it works as expected.

I was trying to install a minecraft modpack about 2 days ago using curseforge, but now randomly when my browser is open this pop-up will appear even though i havent visited curseforge since then

Firefox using the changeable drop-down menu of search providers, hides page URLs. I use them all the time to link out to others, etc. Can this behavior be toggled on/off?

I am using Firefox Developer Edition version 154.0b5 (latest according to settings) and when I try double clicking or use ctrl + A, the url won't be selected (or parts of it if I try something selecting something specific). Double clicking doesn't work at all.

Is this a bug?

Since the latest beta update, Beta, v. 154.0b5 (64-bit) I cannot select or highlight text in either the address or search bars. Is this a known problem? (See red arrows in screenshot)
