I want to sync calendars across Thunderbird and iPhone. (Linux Mint 22 Wilma, Thunderbird 140.14.1 esr)

I am trying to use the Apple calendar server to sync with. Using the Create New Calendar dialog box in Thunderbird, then applying the Apple-assigned password, Thunderbird returns "Could not find calendars at this location. Please check your settings."

I would appreciate help with this.

I have Thunderbird installed on a linux o/s running Zorin 18.1 the version of thunderbird is shown in uploaded images. I wish to export everything in my profile to a folder which Evolution can access when asked to import. I then intend to delete Thunderbird and carry on with Evolution as my email app of choice. Running Thunderbird 140.14.0esr under Linux on a Chromebook. Have tried several times to move messages from Inbox to other folders and each time TB shuts down. When I restart it has an extra blank tab. I am able to move items using the Move To menu but that's tedious. It appears there was an update 18 August but the issue just started today. There have also been recent updates to Chrome but I've done all the shut downs/restarts called for.

This post is to inform others that release 153.1.0esr finally fixed this previously unresolved issue with spam filters in unified folder mode for me. Up to 140.14.0esr the problem persisted.

I cannot see any other relevant variables in my setup that would have changed concurrently so I am assuming a now fixed underlying software bug as the cause.

I bought a new pc with windows 11 and everything is fine except that I installed thunderbird via microsoft store and when I gave it my email address, I could see my emails but it hasn't created a profile. Therefore when a try to view the profile it says user.../appdata/roaming/thunderbird/profiles... doesn't exist. I am logged on as an administrator. Should I uninstall then install from the mozilla website directly?

How to search Desktop Thunderbird with multiple accounts for email message that were sent/arrived during a specific date range, a "Global" search which covers multiple accounts. All of the guidance I have found online result with me needing to pick a particular account.
