When you type in "m.you" into Firefox focus, with the built-in autocomplete settings on, the second result is "m.youtube.coм" - notice the Cyrillic m. This website doesn't load but it could easily become a malicious website. I've had this happen on two different phones, so I believe it is something to do with the pre-built list of autocompletes.

Recently focus has had warning pages that are entirely red colored. It has happened on pages that should be fine and are in my home page tabs. One example is theGuardian.com, the news site.

The page closes quickly and says something like - this page may have malicious content. The browser page then goes back to the previous page.

My iPad is running iOS 17.7. And I have had focus on it for many years. I don’t think focus updates automatically.

Is this a new feature? Or is theguardian.com now serving malicious pages?

Thanks!

What is the issue? This never happened before. I reinstalled Firefox Focus and did get the same result.

I want to block some specific websites from force-opening from a game app I use. The app uses ads to make its money. I accept that ads exposure within the app is the price I pay for playing the game , but object to the ads force-opening windows separately in my browser. Can I block them?
