Having tried all solutions I can find on the web nothing works. Computer is new windows 10 with only edge and thunderbird.. My other established computer windows 11, established thunderbird with yahoo and Plusnet working ok but outlook keeps failing despite test connections working and message from Microsoft saying thunderbird has accessed my outlook account.
