Yesterday, Firefox was hanging. When I re-set it, I can get the main screen, but I get an error message that says:"server not found" when I try to do a search. I've also done the following: disabled plug-ins, checked for viruses and malware. I pulled up a list of crash reports, but when I right click on the most recent one and click "open link in new tab", the tab comes up as "problem loading page". I've also tried typing in "APPDATA..." etc. In the "run" pop-up window, but I get another pop-up window stating that the location is not available.
