How do I stop my computer from asking me if I want to set Firefox as my default browser?
Firefox is my default browser, but every time I turn on my computer, I'm asked if I want to set Firefox as my default browser. How can I fix that?

Hmm, that is strange. Is Firefox starting up automatically when you turn on your computer?
Even if it's starting automatically, if it is already set as the default browser, you shouldn't need to do it again. Usually this is shown on the Settings page in the "Home and startup" panel, where the first section at the top will tell you that Firefox is your default browser. Does that section confirm that Firefox is your default browser?
Normally, your default browser is the one that Windows uses for purposes like these:
- when you double-click a .html file on your desktop or in folder, Windows sends the file to the default browser to open
- when you click a link to an http or https address in a non-browser application like Acrobat or Word, Windows sends the URL to the default browser
Possibly Firefox is checking all of those different associations and something is not lining up? I don't have the technical details on what it checks. You may want to let Firefox make itself the default browser (again) and see whether that stops the prompts going forward.
