Error message when accessing business websites which use Cloudflare: "ERROR 1005 ACCESS DENIED DUE TO ASN 9009". This seems to be because Firefox is using ip addresses which are blacklisted. This has been checked with blacklist services such as DroneBL. I am not using a VPN. I constantly clear cache & cookies from Firefox and then restart the computer. I am not ignorant or stupid. Why is Firefox using blacklisted ip addresses? Is it because of M247? Is there any way around this extremely annoying problem? Thank you for your response.

Chosen solution

Firefox does not have any built-in features to change the IP address associated with your service provider (whether that is home, office, hotel, coffee shop, or other hotspot).

It could be changed by installing a proxy add-on, using a VPN, or using an external proxy server. It sounds like you have ruled out intentional modification.

If you test other sites that tell you your IP address, do the results seem out of line? For example, you can use test pages from popular VPN vendors (I don't use these products, so this is not an endorsement):

Hi

So that we can try to replicate the issue that you are seeing, could you share the address of the website that is having this issue?

Thank you. The URL is displayed on the screenshot which I posted but I will gladly state it for you: https://www.cigarsinternational.com. Additional information: Cigars International is located in the State of Pennsylvania, USA. I do not know where or how this company accesses Cloudflare. Error messages of this type, which I get frequently, clearly state that an association with ASN 9009, emanating from the U.K., are responsible. I am assuming that M247 is somehow involved. However, investigation reveals that the blacklisted ip addresses all originated from TOUCH VPN. I am not familiar with this VPN. Thanks again for your help.

donthavecow: I am aware of possible proxy problems. Proxy has been turned off in Firefox and disabled in Windows. Thank you.
