The date of an email sent to us encrypted arrives perfectly in Thunderbird with the proper date. However, after it has been decrypted by enigmail, in 'print preview' the date is wrong and it prints with the incorrect date that was displayed in 'print preview'. It looks as though the 2 numbers representing the day and the 2 numbers representing the year are switched. For example if the email was dated 2017-08-01, it is printed as 2001-08-17. The printed copies with correct dates are important to us because they are the source documents for our auditors. Thanks for your help.

The printed date is the date of print not the email.

The print date is at the bottom of the page (footer) and is correct but the date I'm having a problem with is at the top of the page where the headers Subject, From, Date and To are printed. The Date header is printed incorrectly. Here is an example of a decrypted message sent on August 12, 2017: DATE: 2012-08-17 This issue has come up in the last couple of weeks. We have been doing this for several years without any issues.

Is this a Thunderbird bug or an Enigmail bug or is there something I can do to get the date printing correctly?
