Suddenly, right click on image no longer opens context menu but opens image instead

Windows 10 desktop, version 159.0, Right clicking on an image used to open the context menu. This suddenly changed. Now, when right clicking on an image, the image itself simply opens in the same tab. Anyone have any idea what happened or how to get the context menu to start opening as normal again?

(Shift + right click opens context menu as normal but never required a shift key hold before.)

Hi, Shift+right-click bypasses a website's customization of the "context menu" event. It could be that the site is trying to do something with right-clicks that isn't behaving as intended.

Or does this happen on all sites for you? If it happens on all sites, I wonder whether an add-on might be causing it. You can check whether you have any image-related add-ons that might have this feature: Review installed extensions.
