yahoo search in firefox
Please add yahoo search to mobile version of Firefox because it's impossible to add to your search engine list and every other search engine is garbage. Thank you

You can add any search provider: Add custom search engines in Firefox — the steps for Android are similar: Manage my default search engines in Firefox for Android
Please add yahoo search to mobile version of Firefox
Yahoo is not likely to be added in the default search engine list on any Firefox again. Yes Firefox or at least the desktop Firefox version did have Yahoo as one of the default search engine list options to choose from and was even the default search engine for most locales instead of Google for a short while.
Yahoo was completely removed from desktop Firefox from 57.0 and on as there was a discussion about it back in 2018 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/forums/contributors/712925

The Yahoo search engine is not likely to be added in Firefox again whether on desktop or mobile versions as there was even a legal battle.
If you need the exact string with the placeholder key to use in the settings, for UK it might be:
https://uk.search.yahoo.com/search?p=%s
(or just leave out the "uk." bit to get the global version.)
