Pasting in comments section of youtube using Firefox broken again (was an issue 3 years ago)
Apparently YouTube or Mozilla has broken again whatever allows a user to paste text and links into the comment section on YouTube videos. Anyone have a fix (that doesn't include changing "dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled" to false...that causes problems on other websites such as facebook)?

HI, if running any adblockers this can cause the issue.
Can try this : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 60.0.1 with a Full Version Installer

Same problem, and for the comments on videos on Youtube addressing this same issue, we're not alone. I dunno when FF was last updated, if it happened anywhere around the last couple of weeks, but I've noticed the YT thing going on at least since earlier this week. I have the same problem in Safe Mode too. An alternative I found was to drag and drop the text you wanna copy to the comment box? Not sure how to say it in English. But it won't work with links. It's extremely annoying.
